The International Centre at Georgian College is ready to help with all your needs while attending the college. Our staff will help you with everything youíll need before coming and continue to help right up to the time you graduate and beyond. Here is a list of some of the services that we offer:
Airport pick-up
One of the staff members of the International Centre will pick you up at the airport and drive you to your new home. There is no charge for this service.

Introduction to the Community and College
Coming to a new country can be a challenging experience. For this reason, we will help you get familiar with the city, the college, and a variety of community services during an "orientation week", and continue to help throughout the year.
Medical Insurance (Health)
The cost of health insurance is included in the tuition fees. The health coverage provides 100% coverage if you are sick, or need to see a doctor. The cost is a very economical $1.45 Canadian per day and if you get sick during your time in Canada, you will be treated in one of the best health care systems in the world.
Housing Placement Services
The International Centre staff will help you to find the best type of housing for your needs; in our on-campus residence, with Canadian families (homestay), or in off-campus facilities. There is no fee for this service.
Immigration Counselling
If you need to extend your study permit or obtain a work permit, the International student advisor will help you apply.
